$\quad$Meteor was originally the familiar of a once powerful wizard thousands of years ago. This wizard was searching for the mythical Fountain of Youth. The wizard was able to find the fountain and took the plunge into it, dousing Meteor as well. Eventually, through decades of working by the Wizard's side, Meteor was able to develop his own magical capabilities. Meteor's wizard was killed during the events of the First All-Stars. Meteor barely escaped and fled to the Wizard's tower, inheriting all of his magical doohickeys and books. Meteor took to studying and evolved his magical prowess, now untethered by his bond to the wizard. He now travels the planes, maintaining the bonds that keep the cosmology together. He often fights horrors beyond comprehension in the Far Realms and is the first line of defense against interplanar invaders. He is the biggest thing keeping extraplanar threats from collapsing into the material plane.
