In the [[The Nine Hells]], Nessal is the layer of murder. Nessal houses the violent and unhinged. It is a sprawling wasteland of chaos. Random landmasses jut out, lava geysers and floating rocks hang randomly, towns lay ruined half buried in mud, all aspects of Nessal are in disarray. Its inhabitants fight eternally and sporadically across its infinite battlefield. The plane is ruled by the [[Archdevils|Archdevil]] [[Chrybdas]] and the [[Demon Lords|Demon Lord]] [[Demogorgon]].
