Count [[Esclamonde Verfille]] "the Twain" is the current leader of House Verfille. As one of the [[Houses of Séllur|Lesser Houses]], all of their land is within the [[Crownlands]]. The members of House Verfille have a reputation of being rough or even rude by noble standards making them somewhat ostracized from greater Séllurian politics. Members of House Verfille can be identified from their goliath-like height, hand-crafted jewelry, distinct style of weapons and armor, and harsh demeanor. He is the father of both Leomund and Lucien. He has open disdain for the "boring" parts of noble life and can most often be found in [[Rothmund's Cradle]] hammering away at some new project. **Lady Vedalia Verfille** Lady Vedalia is a 3rd cousin of Count Esclamonde and member of the [[Fleurier Order]]. She is famed around Rothmund's Hills and the surrounding [[Foxhold Woodlands]] for her heroics in saving towns and villages from incursions by dangerous monsters. **First Councillor Lucien Verfille** *For further reading see [[Lucien Verfille]]* Lucien is the second born of Count Esclamonde and the current First Councillor on the [[Primrose Council]]. He is one of, if not the most, influential Verfille in Séllur. He is uniquely positioned as the sole adiministrator of [[New Sélluria]] and being one of the leaders of the Primrose Council during [[Josette Jacquemond I|Queen Josette's]] slumber. **Count Leomund** Leomund is the older brother of First Councillor Lucien and the son of Count Esclamonde. Leomund rules the County of Monteu, the only port city in Verfille lands. He takes after the goliath heritage of House Verfille being almost 8 feet tall and wide to match. He gained glory as a great warrior during the [[Moondrop Rebellion]].
