# **The Noble Gods:** - The 10 Noble Gods are the primary deities of [[Séllur]]. Their places of worship can be found in any city or large town, often in the form of Noble Cathedrals that serve all of them. The Noble Gods are: **Sélluria - [[Lumeria]]** *For more information see [[Sélluria]]* - The Queen and leader of the Pantheon along with her husband, Kyros. Sélluria is the goddess of the sun, fire, growth, riches, and Séllur itself. Only with her blessing could Séllur be possible at all. Her grand cathedrals, known as **Lux Spires**, are expected in every major settlement across Séllur. Lux Spires contain shrines to every noble god but highlight Sélluria above all. Her worship is required if one wants to really partake in society in any meaningful capacity. **Kyros - [[Kyros]]** - The First Duke of the Séllurian Pantheon. He is married to Sélluria and acts as the judge and law bringer of Sélluria's court. He is dilligent, stoic, and somewhat detached to compliment Sélluria's warm and loving nature. He is invoked at any legal proceeding and serves as an example of all judges and decision makers in Séllur. **Sir Ethneur - [[Evnir]]** - Sir Ethneur is Sélluria's greatest knight and serves as an example of what a perfect knight should be. He is devoted, cultured, soft spoken, and the ultimate guardian. Any knight in Séllur is knighted in his name. He is believed to watch over any knight to ensure they honor their oaths and punishes them if they do not. He is of great importance to House [[Marleau]]. **Fleuria - [[Reva]]** - Fleuria is the princess of Sélluria's court being the daughter of Sélluria and Kyros. She is the embodiment of courtly splendor, beauty, and proper etiquette. She serves as an example to all nobles of how they are to act and prepare their own courts. She is invoked at the birth of an heir or transfer of a noble title. She is of great importance to House [[Leverge]]. **Enilia - [[Enulla]]** - Enilia is the doctor of Sélluria's court, ensuring their good health and protection from disease. She is invoked at the birth of children, when people fall sick, and when people wish others good health. **Pancela - [[Cezona]]** - Pancela is the cook of Sélluria's court, sometimes called the Lady of the Loaf. She governs the harvest, agriculture, and the large farmlands of Séllur. and She is invoked in times of merriment and joy, often having effigies at various festivals across Séllur. She is very prevalent in the [[Day Counties]]. **Luxandre - [[Luminus]]** - Luexandre is Sélluria's great advisor, conducting her light and warmth across the world. Luxandre is the dispenser of light, sending Sélluria's orders to the pantheon. He is believed to be the patron of the elves. He is invoked during meetings of the [[Primrose Council]]. His patronage of elves makes him a favorite of House [[Coucher]]. **Ralyon - [[Iridyon]]** - Ralyon is the gardener of Sélluria's court. Through Ralyon's help Sélluria was able to fashion [[Bosquia]] into the great city it is today. The importance of flowers in Séllur's history with the [[Blooming Blades]] and [[Petaled Revolution]] is because of Ralyon's interventions. He is of great importance to House [[Lansois]]. **Deuxnion - [[Edarus & Alzarus]]** - Deuxnion is the two-faced gatekeeper of Sélluria's court. It is believed that they were once two gods but their devotion to one another resulted in them becoming one. Deuxnion ensures only those with good intentions entreat Sélluria's court. They are invoked at weddings, especially between nobles. **Anvon - [[Shavteus]]** - Anvon is the smith of Sélluria's court. He looks people that create with their hands like artisans and smiths. He is said to be the creator of [[Sol Steel]] and one of the gods that blessed the Soleil. He is important to House [[Verfille]]. # **The Courtier Gods:** - The Courtier Gods are gods that are worshipped but in more local or circumstantial circumstances. For example Mortea is invoked at every funeral and Sir Gueroston is worshipped when going into battle but they are not included in the Lux Spires. Lady Reverie - [[Murann]] - Lady Reverie is a young diviner of the court. She governs the realms of dreams and prophecy, often being invoked when performing auguries or navigating prophecies. Alinila - [[Alinila]] - Alinila is the deity of transitions and thresholds. Alinila is invoked when a noble is inaugurated or when one feels unsure of their status, ready to transition to a new life. Mortea - [[Traniara]] - Mortea is the goddess of death and the after life. She oversees the judges of the dead and ensures safe passage of those that pass on. She is invoked at funerals and her rites are required for the soul to safely pass on. Sir Gueroston - [[Chubbyam]] - Sir Gueroston is the embodiment of bloodshed and war. Where Sir Ethneur sees war as an unfortunate ocurrence, Sir Gueroston revels in the ability to kill and dominate. He is invoked at the beginning of battles in hopes he will favor their side. Sir Manoré - [[Daius]] - Sir Manoré is the partner of Sir Gueroston. He is one of the commanders of Sélluria's army but lacks the honor to rival Sir Ethneur. Manoré is strong, able to win every battle he fights in. In myths and stories it is his lack of honor that keeps him as a Courtier God. He is invoked before duels to strengthen the fighters. Sir Banal -[[Talros]] - Sir Banal is the god of the hunt, the master of the hunt in Sélluria's court. Sir Banal coordinates Sélluria's menagerie and helps with Ralyon's great gardens. Sir Banal is invoked by hunters for his protection and bounty. Aquitare - [[Lantos]] - Aquitare is the admiral of Sélluria's navy and god of the seas. While his control of the waves is essential, his wrathful and impulsive nature is frowned upon. He is invoked by sailors and fisherman for safe travel on the sea. Romjier - [[Rumjir]] - Romjier is the god of travel and commerce, often worshipped in large cities and towns. He is invoked by merchants and artisans in hopes he will bless them with fortune and powerful charisma. Zhimdel - [[Xhimdal]] - Zhimdel is the god of disease and balance. His worship is not popular but understood to be necessary. He is thought to be fair but direct. Zhimdel is invoked at the culling of beasts, weeds, or infestations. Majika - [[Maka]] - Majika is the goddess of magic and the court mage of Sélluria. Majika is popular and especially worshipped by House [[Coucher]]. Shrines to Majika can be found in any bastion of Séllur's magistrates or arcanist academies. Sosheu -[[Sosha]] - Sosheu is the goddess of the earth and mountains, the sculptor of Sélluria's court. Sosheu is worshipped in the various mountain villages across Séllur. Sosheu is invoked when travelling through the mountains to ensure safety for themselves and others. Iaias: [[Iaias]] - Iaias is the deity of the Astral Plane and the stars, the astronomer of Sélluria's court. Iaias is thought to govern the constellations and comets that astronomers observe and astrologers interpret. They are invoked when interstellar phenomenon occur. Zintrier -[[Zintris]] - Zintrier is the god of time, the chronicler of Sélluria's court. Zintrier is the keeper of Sélluria's past, present, and future. Zintrier is invoked when Séllur seems existentially threatened in hopes Zintrier can grant important knowledge. Sir Vok - [[Vo'ak]] - Sir Vok is one of Sélluria's knights, the greatest guardian in the court, and god of protection. Sir Vok ensures that Sélluria is protected and that the court is secure. Sir Vok is one of the gods invoked when someone is knighted. Notier - [[Notios]] - Notier is the god of knowledge, the scribe of Sélluria's court. Shrines to Notier are present in Séllurian libraries and schools in hopes that he will bless their studies. Khi - [[Ki]] - Khi is the lady of luck, one of the councillors of Sélluria's court. Khi is often invoked at gambling dens, battles, and generally any time someone wants some more luck. Lady Lyr - [[Lyr]] - Lady Lyr is the goddess of music and inspiration, the musician of Sélluria's court. She is the patron of bards and her shrines are found in their colleges and concert halls. She is invoked before great performances. Lady Dunier - [[Deneir]] - Lady Dunier is the goddess of wisdom, the steward of Sélluria's court. Lady Dunier is invoked by teachers and instructors who hope to ease the gifting of knowledge. # **The Moonlit Gods:** - The Moonlit Gods are gods believed to be opposed to Sélluria's rule. Their worship is taboo and their places of worship are outlawed in Séllur after the [[Moondrop Rebellion]]. Lunéria - [[Drana]] - The goddess of the moon and rival sister of Sélluria. Lunéria is thought to be plotting the usurpation of Sélluria, ruling the night where Sélluria is not present. Lunéria is the only goddess whos worship is outright outlawed within Séllur. Sangestra - [[Miantha]] - The goddess of blood, family, and vampires. It is thought that Sangestra is in league with Lunéria, allowing her vampiric minions to operate during Lunéria's rule. Sangestra is not considered to be evil, but her blood rites and cooperation with Lunéria has lead to her places of worship being outlawed Sir Debris - [[Dabris]] - Sir Debris is god of darkness, nightmares, and evil. He is the greatest knight of Lunéria and even her husband in some interpretations. His places of worship are outlawed because they promote evil actions. Sir Mattot - [[Madoth]] - Sir Mattot is the god of revenge and one of Lunéria's knights. Sir Mattot is invoked somewhat frequently because many people want revenge but his places of worship are strictly outlawed. Most worship of Mattot is done in hiding. Sir Damenron - [[Damron]] - Sir Damenron is the god of deceit and one of Lunéria's knights. Sir Damenron is thought to have created changelings which is one of the reasons for their ostracization. Ekresille - [[Ekresil]] - Ekresille is the god of trickery and the jester of Sélluria's court. Ekresille is at once one of the Moonlit Gods and one of the Courtier Gods depending on who you ask. Different theologians have different interpretations of the gods and their relationships and Ekresille is one of the hardest to nail down. Most Lansois philosophers agree that Ekresille is a moonlit god.
