# Overview New Sélluria is [[Séllur]]'s colony off the coast of [[Castkia]]. The colonial project was originally proposed by [[Leverge|House Leverge]] who was able to successfuly convince [[Josette Jacquemond I|Queen Josette]] in 610. New Sélluria is prized for its unique access to Coldsteel, Furs, and other raw resources. It serves as a launching point into the main continent of Castkia which make Séllurian maps of Castkia some of the most advanced in all of Vallaera. The Colonies of Séllur are under the jurisdiction of the First Councillor. This is one of the most important roles of the First Councillor. The current First Councillor is [[Lucien Verfille]]. # Demographcis & Geography New Sélluria is very different from anywhere else in Séllur. It is incredibly cold with very little sunlight. For all intents and purposes New Sélluria is an icey rock off the coast of Castkia. Agriculture is nigh impossible without magical assistance so fishing, hunting, and small farm animals are the main source of sustenance. The citizens of New Sélluria are varied with it only being settled 12 years ago. The residents of New Sélluria are known as "provincials" by those that reside in Séllur proper. A decent portion of New Sélluria's population stems from the prison laborers that are sent from Séllur. It is common for people to be banished to New Sélluria, work for their freedom, and then live freely in New Sélluria.
