The current leader of the Dusk Counties is [[Drakith Coucher|Duke Drakith Coucher]] who has ruled for over a century. The Dusk Counties were the last major annexation of Séllur and occurred under [[Josette Jacquemond I|Queen Josette's]] grandfather in the [[War of Smoke & Shield]]. # Geography The Dusk Counties are rocky and hilly, some of the hardest lands in Séllur. The Dusk Counties are colder than the rest of Séllur and have many local and unique traditions. There are many unique creatures and people that cannot be found anywhere else in Séllur. # Counties **Sunsrest** *For more information see [[Drakith Coucher]]* Duke Drakith Coucher has ruled from Sunsrest for over a century. The County of Sunsrest is home to the city of Sunsrest, the greatest city in the Dusk Counties. Sunsrest produces and exports the most arcane materials in all of Séllur. **Parnith** Countess Reselia Coucher rules Parnith from Ullerock. Reselia is the sister of [[Primrose Council|Councillor Darfore]] and only daughter of the late Archduke Vykith Coucher. Parnith is the smallest of the Dusk Counties but its ability to utilize materials from both the Western Mountains and edges of the [[Silvermorn Forest]] makes it mightier than its size would suggest. **Sleurun** Count Tybalth Coucher rules Sleurun from the ancient city of Das-Unerek. Das-Unerek is one of the best preserved examples of a [[Thescryan Empire|Thescryan]] city. Much of the ancient architecture is upheld within the city and many Thescryan ruins dot the lands of Sleurun. **Ethnyva** Countess Myeni Coucher rules Ethnyva from the Storming Bastion. The Storming Bastion is the largest deterrents from an invasion by the [[Sacred Lands of Gainier]]. Founded by [[Blooming Blades|Sir Dorian Coucher]], it is considered an impenetrable fortress.
