The leader of the [[Effranian Empire]] who invented the [[Pylon]]. He had an occult pact with a demon. Tamur was said to have been blessed by [[Kyros]] himself, and acted as an intermediary in the creation of [[The Alamat]]. In Tamur's time, the Alamat acted as an elite force that served him directly, ensuring his protection and that his will was done. They were created through a pact made with [[Miantha]], the Goddess of Blood. Tamur and the original 4 Alamat forged a pact of loyalty to transcend generations. The 4 Alamat were known for their distinctive marks: The Sun, The Heart, The Shadow, and The Grave. Reading on, Renwick learns that, following the Age of Betrayal, many of the marked diffused throughout The Effranian Empire, leading to many of them losing connection to the throne. The most famous of the Alamat in the present era is [[Saladin]], Commander of the Empire, who bears the Mark of the Heart.
