Now it floats around amongst fighters, constantly shifting hands whenever its owner is slain. While The Maw gives you extraordinary strength, it is believed to be cursed by Chrybdas, as whoever wears his stolen helm often dies young. However, many believe it isn’t a curse, but rather the ego and hubris of its wielder provoking constant fights and making many enemies leading to their deaths. Regardless of how it shifts hands, The Maw of Chrybdas is always moving, leaving a bloody trail of corpses behind it.
