Vance was a powerful and far-reaching nation, led by General [[Zinfir]] of the [[Myrkhans]]. The fiercely disciplined , Vance was a land of golden armor, obsidian cities, fantastical weapons, and towering citadels. The nation thrived on order, tactical precision, and the relentless pursuit of martial and intellectual perfection. The myrkhans strength and adaptability dominated anything other nations had at that time.
Though it started small, Vance grew like wildfire. Its military efficiency and strategy is still unmatched in the modern era. It spread its culture, art, architecture, and craftsmanship throughout Anatha. It grew so fast it controlled all of [[Anatha]]. At this point, [[The League of All-Stars]] truly stepped in and made their stand. They were barely able to stop Zinfir from taking the bastion but were unable to truly make a dent in Zinfir’s forces in the process. Zinfir prepared his troops for one last offensive while the All-Stars attempted to rest and breached the walls of the city.
The battle was vicious and went either way for a while. It was then that Enzio Kerrigan used his final Wish, the most powerful spell in Vallaera, to bring Zinfir down. This battle is known as the [[Siege of Stonerest]]. After this battle, Vance collapsed.
Revolts and riots across the empire, combined with a decapitated leadership led to the empire falling to pieces. Myrkhans were hunted down en masse by those who sought revenge. Their numbers dwindled down into the hundreds before they managed to hide away. Many legends of forgotten technology, forbidden weaponcraft, and the tomb of Zinfir were lost during this time. Now, Vance exists only in scattered ruins, myths whispered by wizened elves, and the golden-obsidian relics it left behind.
