Orion is the leader of the [[Ebony Gauntlet]]. He is an [[Assimilists|Assimilist]] that opposes King [[Gofric Vaelen]]'s rule. Orion has led campaigns against the military fortresses along the Mindrakkian border, weakening the already underwhelming defenses that [[Thalrune]] has mustered against [[Mindrak]]. Orion's past is largely unknown, and the earliest records of him are of his service in the royal guard. This has fueled conspiracy theories about Mindrak's infiltration of the higher levels of the Thalrune government. Orion wields the legendary blade [[Coronation of Ants]].
