The Mindrak Dynasty is ruled by [[Mindrak]]. It is an incredibly powerful nation, led by an ancient blue dragon. The Mindrak Dynasty tolerates no insubordination. All its citizens are expected to show endless patriotic loyalty to Mindrak. The punishments for crimes are often very harsh, and Mindrak has no qualms about killing political opponents. However, the Mindrak Dynasty is also immensely successful. It has excellent roads, clean cities, and well-paying jobs for its citizens. It is also very safe; many outsiders joke that the only monster you have to fear within its borders is the one that sits on the throne. Mindrak strains the international rules of hospitality to their breaking point. He has broken international laws several times, but [[The League of All-Stars]] has only ever given him a slap on the wrist. Mindrak is powerful enough that The League would struggle in a conflict with him, and his position as an important international leader also makes The League hesitate to get involved. Recently, Mindrak declared a portion of the [[Dozal Federation]] as a part of his Dynasty, and that Mindrakkian records say that the land was actually Mindrak's. All of Dozal knows that this is a false claim, but the mostly-trade focused nation could never hope to defend itself against Mindrak, so they acceded the land without resistance. Now, Mindrak has begun a similar ploy against [[Thalrune]]. He has claimed more territory in Thalrune is actually a part of the Dynasty and has begun moving his troops along its border. Tharune is torn between capitulating to Mindrak's demands or fighting, even if it would mean certain death.
