The High Republic was forged in the Great Evocation War of 225 after the death of Zinfir. The war was fought by wizards and spellcasters that were forced under the servitude of the dragon Mindrak. They were able to win their freedom in the war and create The High Republic, the primary location for magic users in Anatha. The people of the High Republic are talented wizards and their social strata are defined by their magical prowess. The more powerful magic users rise to the top of the government and are afforded more luxuries.
