Corinth the Mad was a prominent member of the [[Cloaks of Maka]], known for her skill as both a duelist and as a powerful planar traveler. She was a generational talent, but her downfall came in 615 AD, when she planeshifted too close to the Far Realms. Even just approaching the Far Realms and hearing the whispers of the Atzani broke her mind. Upon returning to the Material Plane, she subsequently slaughtered three of its members and grievously wounded a fourth before vanishing. She later reappeared in the [[High Republic]] of [[Anatha]], where she dueled the nation's leader, the Archmage and fellow Cloak [[Velerion Lorestead]] and another fellow Cloak, [[Wynna Tyvertrout]]. Corinth was defeated and slain in this fight, and the Cloaks henceforth labeled any magic that connects to the Far Realms as forbidden.
